(Alliance News) - AIM-listed Urban&Civic PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Bill Holland as independent non-executive director with effect from Thursday.
In addition, the UK property development and investment company said Holland will replace Ian Barlow as chair of the Audit Committee, also with effect from Thursday. Barlow will continue to hold the position of senior independent director.
Holland is a former partner of KPMG, where he had audit responsibility for a number of major housebuilding and property company clients, Urban&Civic explained. He is currently a non-executive director of CLS Holdings PLC and Ground Rents Income Fund PLC.
"I am delighted to welcome Bill to the board, who brings with him extensive real estate and audit experience. We look forward to benefiting from his skills and experience," said Chair Alan Dickinson.
Urban&Civic shares closed 1.4% lower in London on Tuesday at 355.00 pence each.
