LONDON (Alliance News) - Upland Resources Ltd on Thursday said Chief Executive Stephen Staley has made a charitable donation of shares to non-profit organisation Arctic Research Group.
Staley has handed the UK charity, which is seeking to learn more about the High Arctic region through scientific research, 1.0 million Upland shares for free.
Following the transaction, Staley will have 16.3 million shares in the oil & gas investment company, or a 7.6% stake.
Shares in Upland were untraded on Thursday, having last traded at 1.17 pence. That makes the gifted shares worth GBP11,700.
