LONDON (Alliance News) - Pub company JD Wetherspoon PLC on Thursday said Non-Executive Director Mark Reckitt has stepped down from his post having been appointed in the same role at Hill & Smith Holdings PLC.
Hill & Smith manufactures safety barrier systems and is also listed in London.
Reckitt is also a non-executive director at outsourcing and energy services company Mitie Group PLC, as well as at pork and poultry supplier Cranswick PLC.
He was group strategy director at engineering business Smiths Group PLC from 2011 to 2014, prior to which he was chief strategy officer at chocolate-maker Cadbury PLC.
In a separate statement, Hill & Smith welcomed Reckitt to the board.
"I am delighted that Mark has agreed to join us. His strategic and financial experience gained over many years will bring a valuable and fresh perspective to our board as we continue to develop our presence in the global infrastructure and galvanising markets," Chairman Bill Whiteley said.
Shares in Wetherspoon were trading down 0.1% at 750.00 pence on Thursday morning, while Hill & Smith shares were trading up 0.1% at 953.00p.
