LONDON (Alliance News) - Sound Oil PLC Friday said it issued 1.5 million shares in the company, including an exercise of options by Chief Executive James Parsons.
The gas company said that Parsons exercised options to subscribe for 1.3 million shares at a price of 6.5 pence each. He then disposed of the same number of shares as well as an additional 160,000 shares, and transferred 100,000 shares to his wife for nil consideration.
Following the transactions, Parsons now holds 884,603 shares, representing 0.2% of the company's issued share capital.
Shares in Sound Oil closed down 0.3% at 18.20 pence on Friday.
