LONDON (Alliance News) - Superdry PLC said on Tuesday that several directors have left the company following a general meeting which saw co-founders Julian Dunkerton and Peter Williams return to the board as interim chief executive officer and chair respectively.
Chair Peter Bamford, Chief Executive Euan Sutherland and Chief Financial Officer Ed Barker have stepped down with immediate effect.
Also, Non-Executive Directors Dennis Millard, Minnow Powell, Sarah Wood and John Smith will leave their roles on July 1.
In addition, brokers UBS and Investec have resigned from their positions.
Earlier on Tuesday, shareholders narrowly voted in favour of re-electing the co-founders, with 51.15% for and 48.85% votes against.
"We are very pleased to be joining the board of this great British company. We look forward to rebuilding the Superdry brand and the business," Dunkerton and Williams said.
Shares in the fashion retailer closed down 8.8% at 500.00 pence on Tuesday.
