(Alliance News) - Informa PLC on Thursday confirmed it has raised GBP1.00 billion through placing and subscription of 250.3 million shares at 400 pence each.
The placing price represents a discount of 4.0% to Wednesday's closing share price of 416.80. The stock closed 4.9% higher at 437.40p each on Thursday in London.
The FTSE 100 business events and publishing company said all members of its board and executive management team subscribed for a total of 158,788 shares.
Informa added that the total 250.3 million shares placed represent 19.9% of its existing issued share capital. Following admission, the company's issued share capital will comprise 1.38 billion shares.
The company earlier Thursday temporarily suspended all dividends, including the withdrawal of its final 2019 payout. It plans to review its dividend policy later in 2020.
