LONDON (Alliance News) - Entertainment One Ltd said Tuesday it has secured subscribers for all of the shares it has issued under the rights issue launched to part-fund the acquisition of Peppa Pig creator Astley Baker Davies Ltd.
Earlier in the morning, the company said it had secured 95.87% take-up of the shares issued under the rights issue. The remaining shares were then taken up in the rump placing, the company said later in the morning, by underwriters JPMorgan Cazenove and Credit Suisse.
The discounted rights issue was announced earlier this month to raise GBP193.6 million through the issue of around 131.5 million new shares at 153.0 pence.
Shares in Entertainment One were up 0.9% to 225.40 pence on Tuesday.
