LONDON (Alliance News) - Online gaming companies bwin.party digital entertainment PLC and 888 Holdings PLC Tuesday both said that they have fully launched their casino and poker brands in New Jersey.
bwin.party said that its real money poker and casino games went live in New Jersey overnight, while 888 Holdings said that its igaming software and services are also now open to all eligible players in the US state.
Both companies were recently awarded licenses to operate in the US state, the third state to open up its online gaming market, following in the footsteps of US states Nevada and Delaware.
888 Holdings is operating through its joint US venture All American Poker Network, with investment firm Avenue Capital Group.
bwin.party shares were up 0.1% at 128.50 pence Tuesday afternoon, while 888 shares were up 1.1% at 162.00 pence per share.
