LONDON (Alliance News) - Sefton Resources Inc Tuesday said it has been asked to hold a general meeting so shareholders can vote on the removal of certain directors.
The oil and gas company said it received a letter on Monday purporting the requisition for a general meeting to remove Chief Financial Officer Raylene Whitford and Non Executive Directors Tom Milne and Keith Morris, and to replace them with new board members.
Sefton did not reveal who had submitted the requisition or the reasons it was lodged, but said it was currently seeking advice about the validity of the request.
The company said it will make a further announcement in due course.
Sefton shares were up 5.0% to 0.0630 pence per share on Tuesday morning.
