LONDON (Alliance News) - Universe Group PLC's results for 2014 will be weighted towards the second-half, Chairman Robert Goddard will tell shareholders at the company's annual general meeting later Tuesday, but noted that the final results remain dependent on securing "certain large-scale roll-outs."
"[While] we remain confident of securing them, their timing is uncertain," Goddard is set to say at the AGM, though he will add that the group has made progress in establishing its new products into existing and new customers.
"I am pleased to report that trading in the current financial year is in line with the comparable period last year, a period which was significantly bolstered by project work and hardware roll-outs," Goddard will tell shareholders.
Universe Group's financial year is the calendar year.
Universe Group shares were Tuesday quoted at 5.14 pence, down 16%.
