(Alliance News) - Unbound Group PLC on Thursday announced the launch of a multi-brand platform offering footwear and apparel, with an initial 14 partner brands declared.
The London-based footwear company said brands such as Birkenstock, Sketchers and Hush Puppes will be phased onto its Unbound platform from July to October for sale.
Unbound said it expects the introduction of these 14 brands will help the company benefit from greater engagement and an uplift in cross and up-sell opportunities.
Unbound said this would be expanded into other areas in due course, with the company current exploring "a number of opportunities" to accelerate the offering.
The company also confirmed that its main business, Hotter Shoes, is trading in line with expectations for the year ending February 5, 2023.
Shares in Unbound were up 2.8% at 29.80 pence on Thursday in London. The company was created from the remains of Electra Private Equity and listed on AIM at the start of 2022.
