Ultrasis' Screenetics Business Chosen As Part Of Major Public Sector Contract

4th Feb 2014 12:24

LONDON (Alliance News) - Healthcare and wellness services company Ultrasis PLC Tuesday said its health screening business Screenetics, has been chosen by Xexec as part of major public sector contract.

Ultrasis said it has been chosen as the exclusive provider of a range of health screening options, as part of a large public sector salary sacrifice scheme which was recently awarded to Xexec.

Xexec was selected by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime, as its provider of choice to deliver a combined employee benefits programme to the Metropolitan Police Service's 45,000 staff, following a rigorous tender process.

"Our experience of providing services to similar salary sacrifice schemes indicates a typical take up of around 3 to 5% of the workforce but we hope that with targeted marketing and the high level of health awareness amongst the employees this will be exceeded and lead to significant income to the company over the next 3 years," said Screenetics Managing Director Kevin Hollick in a statement.

Ultrasis shares were up 10.7% at midday Tuesday, trading at 1.13 pence per share.
