LONDON (Alliance News) - Ultra Electronics Holdings PLC said that the function of group finance director will be undertaken by its former financial controller Ami Sharma until a successor is appointed for Mary Waldner, who will leave the company March 16.
The company said that it has begun a process to identify a new finance director, and will update the market in "due course."
Waldner had announced her intention to leave in November, to become chief financial officer at privately-owned engineering, technical and business services firm Lloyds Register.
Ami Sharma will not be appointed to the board, and will report directly to Chief Executive Rakesh Sharma, the company said.
Shares in Ultra Electronics were up 0.8% to 1,903.00 pence.
