(Alliance News) - Electrical and electronics engineering company Ultra Electronics Holdings PLC on Thursday said BP PLC executive Jos Sclater will succeed Amitabh Sharma as group finance director.
Sharma, who has spent around 10 years at Ultra, will step down as director and finance chief on December 1 and will leave on December 31. Sclater, currently chief financial officer of BP's Castrol Lubricants business, will join Ultra on December 9.
"I feel that it is now the right time for me to seek a new set of challenges. I am confident in the new strategy and that the strong team at Ultra will continue to deliver success," Sharma said.
Shares in Ultra were trading 0.8% higher at 2,270.00 pence each on Thursday morning.
