LONDON (Alliance News) - The Financial Times is set to move to a single global print edition in the first half of next year, the Guardian reports on its website Wednesday, citing a memo sent to FT staff by editor Lionel Barber.
The change will mean one edition for the UK and international markets, with no late or changed editions, the Guardian says, suggesting the move may be a penultimate step before the Pearson-owned publication becomes digital only.
The memo is printed in full on the Guardian's website and says there will be more staff working on digital then print going forward and online deadlines will now be the target for its journalists.
