LONDON (Alliance News) - AstraZeneca PLC will invest GBP120 million in a new factory in Macclesfield, northwest England, that will product its blockbuster prostate drug Zoladex, the Financial Times newspaper reported late Monday.
The plant will produce 300 jobs at its existing site, the FT said, and create 200 temporary ones ahead of the opening of the new plant in 2017.

In early trading Tuesday, AstraZeneca shares were off 5.00 pence at 3,287.00p.
