LONDON (Alliance News) - West Africa-focused Cora Gold Ltd said Friday that a significant shareholder has increased his holding in the company to 6.6 million shares over the course of two months, reflecting a 12% interest.
Michael Farmer, who is currently a Conservative life peer in the UK House of Lords, made two purchases of 50,000 shares on March 28 and March 29 at a a price of 14.80 pence and 15.00p per share respectively, and acquired 620,000 shares for 16.13p each at the start of May.
Shares in Cora Gold were up 4.9% at 15.00 pence on Friday.
