UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: Martin Gilbert To Leave Asia Focus Fund

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Aberdeen Standard Asia Focus PLC - invests in smaller, listed companies in Asia and Australasia, excluding Japan - Martin Gilbert will step down from board and not seek re-election at December 1 annual general meeting. Chair Nigel Cayzer notes Gilbert "was instrumental in setting up the company 25 years ago". Company says it will appoint a successor in due course. Gilbert co-founded Aberdeen Asset Management in 1983. In 2017, Aberdeen AM merged with Standard Life PLC to become Standard Life Aberdeen PLC, with Gilbert assuming the role of co-chief executive officer of the combined group before moving to vice chair and then retiring in May.

Baillie Gifford China Growth Trust PLC - aims for long-term capital growth by investing in Chinese companies - Appoints Magdalene Miller as non-executive from Thursday. Miller is the former investment director with Aberdeen Standard Investments' global emerging market team.

Keystone Law Group PLC - London-based law firm - Hires Isabel Napper as non-executive director from December 1. Napper is a lawyer who currently is a non-executive director of medical technology firms SDI Group PLC and Tristel PLC. Peter Whiting will step down as non-executive director after Keystone's financial 2021 results to focus on his role as non-executive chair of recent AIM listing Kooth PLC, digital mental health provider.

PureTech Health PLC - Notes on Tuesday that Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Vedanta Biosciences, which PureTech founded, has appointed Troy Ignelzi, chief financial officer of Karuna Therapeutics Inc, to its board.

Arc Minerals Ltd - exploring for copper and cobalt in the the Zambian copper belt - Mumena Mushinge resigns from board, effective immediately.
