Legal & General Group PLC - London-based provider of investment management, life assurance and pension services - Hires Nilufer von Bismarck as independent non-executive director, starting on May 1 next year. Von Bismark is head of the Financial Institutions Group and the Equity Capital Markets practice at law firm Slaughter & May.

Topps Tiles PLC - Leicestershire-based tile retailer - Andy King to step down as non-executive director at January 20 annual general meeting, while Claire Tiney will step down on July 31. King and Tiney both have served for nine years. Keith Down will become senior independent director from January 20. Diana Breeze will join the board on February 1 and Kari Daniels on April 1. Breeze is human resources director at distribution and services firm Bunzl PLC, and Daniels is chief executive officer of Tesco Ireland, part of grocer Tesco PLC.

Baronsmead Second Venture Trust PLC - invests in UK growth companies - Anthony Townsend to retire as director at AGM. Will appoint new non-executive director in spring of 2021 to stay at four directors.

VPC Specialty Lending Investments PLC - invests in asset-backed loans to businesses originated by non-bank lenders - Graeme Proudfoot as independent non-executive director, starting December 1. Proudfoot is chair of Blackrock Income & Growth Investment Trust PLC. Richard Levy will retire from the board on December 31.

NB Global Monthly Income Fund Ltd - aims for consistent monthly income by investing in traditional credit, alternative credit and private loans - Hires Laure Duhot as non-executive director, effective immediately. Duhot held senior roles at the European Investment Bank, Lehman Brothers, Macquarie Capital Partners and Grainger PLC. She is a non-executive director of Primary Health Properties PLC.
