UK DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Liontrust Chiefs Bank GBP1.6 Million

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Liontrust Asset Management PLC - London-based fund manager - Chief Executive John Ions and Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer Vinay Abrol each sell 66,250 shares at 1,230 pence, together worth GBP1.6 million, on Thursday. Ions now is interested in 761,474 shares, a 1.25% stake, and Abrol in 915,490 shares, a 1.5% holding.

Oxford BioMedica PLC - Oxford, England-based gene and cell therapy - Non-Executive Director Martin Diggle buys 25,000 shares via Vulpes Life Sciences Fund at 779.6p, worth GBP194,900, on Thursday. Vulpes funds, which Diggle manages, now hold 10.7 million Oxford BioMedica shares, a 13% stake.

Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd - mine in Armenia and development assets in Kyrgyz Republic - Chair Martin Andersson receives 7.5 million shares via Labro Investments at 28 pence, worth GBP2.1 million, on Thursday. The shares are remuneration for a loan provided to the company by Labro, and the share issue is part of a refinancing of Chaarat's USD19.4 million investor loan and USD1.1 million in accrued interest. Labro, majority owned by Andersson, now holds 211.1 million shares, a 39.67% stake. Labro also holds loan notes for USD1.0 million, convertible into 2.8 million shares. Andersson is directly interested in a further 5.8 million shares and has restricted share awards and share options representing 18.5 million shares. As a result, Andersson potentially could hold a 44% stake in Chaarat directly and via Labro.

Oakley Capital Investments Ltd - provides investors with liquid access to private equity returns through investment in the Oakley Funds - Director Fiona Beck buys 11,600 shares at 256.00p, worth GBP29,696, on Thursday. The purchase is her only holding.

Bigblu Broadband PLC - Bicester, England-based broadband services provider - Chief Financial Officer Frank Walters buys 10,310 shares at 97p, worth GBP10,000, on Thursday. Now has 325,090 shares, a 0.6% stake.

Cairn Homes PLC - Dublin-based housebuilder - Deirdre McIntosh, spouse of Co-Founder & Non-Executive Director Alan McIntosh, buys 32.9 million shares at EUR0.85, worth EUR27.9 million, on Wednesday. The shares were bought from Prime Developments Ltd, which is owned by a discretionary trust of which McIntosh is a beneficiary. Therefore there is no change in the beneficial ownership of the shares or the interest in Cairn Homes of McIntosh.
