11th Apr 2016 11:58

LONDON (Alliance News) - The UK Competition & Markets Authority on Monday invited comment to help it assess whether the plan for ICAP PLC to sell its voice-broking business to Tullett Prebon PLC will weaken competition.

In a statement, the CMA set a deadline for comments of April 22, with the expected date of its decision being June 8.

Shares in ICAP were down 0.2% at 454.80 pence on Monday afternoon. Tullett shares were up 1.0% at 337.70p.
