(Alliance News) - UK Commercial Property REIT Ltd said Monday it has secured a 10-year lease for the 4,226 square foot seventh floor at 9 Colmore Row in Birmingham, England.
The midcap property investor, managed by Aberdeen Standard Investments, noted the office is being rented by law firm Clarke Wilmott.
"9 Colmore Row is a 10 storey office building with 69,000 square foot of Grade A office and ancillary retail space, currently let to well-respected occupiers including Turley, Capital Dynamics, Brewin Dolphin, BNP Paribas and Smith & Williamson, three of which have renewed leases comprising over 18,000 square foot in the last month," UK Commercial Property said.
The company said only the 9,194 square foot fifth floor of the building remains available.
UKCM's lead manager, Will Fulton, said: "9 Colmore Row sits in the heart of Birmingham's impressive commercial hub and benefits from excellent transport links to and from the city.
"We have invested in the property over the last few years to ensure that we can maximise its potential and continue attracting the city's top businesses, including Clarke Wilmott, as we emerge from the pandemic and occupiers become more selective towards higher quality office environments."
Shares in UK Commercial Property REIT were marginally lower in London on Monday morning at 72.60 pence each.
