(Alliance News) - UIL Ltd on Wednesday said it shares have been admitted to a secondary listing on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
UIL said the closed-end Bermuda-incorporated investment firm's secondary Bermuda listing "further demonstrates its commitment to Bermuda".
The firm's London Stock Exchange shares are being transferred to the Specialist Fund Segment of the Main Market from the Premium Segment. The company announced shareholder approval for its Specialist Fund Segment move on October 9 and admission is scheduled to commence on Thursday.
Shares in UIl were up 0.7% at 255.68 pence in London on Wednesday.
