(Alliance News) - UDG Healthcare PLC on Tuesday said Non-Executive Chair Peter Gray will step down in September next year, amid a series of changes to the board of the service provider to the healthcare industry.
UDG said a selection process to appoint a new chair is in progress.
The FTSE 250 company also confirmed that Chris Brinsmead and Chris Corbin will retire as non-executive directors from January 28 next year. UDG had announced the pair's intended departure earlier in the year, hiring Peter Chambre and Shane Cooke as their replacement from February 1, 2019.
Chambre previously served as chief executive of biotechnology company Cambridge Antibody Group PLC and chief executive of medical device manufacturer Bespak PLC, which is now Consort Medical PLC.
Cooke previously was chief executive of financial advisor Pembroke Capital Ltd and president at biopharmaceutical company Alkermes PLC. He also served as chief financial officer of biotechnology firm Elan Corp PLC, before this was acquired by Perrigo Co in 2013.
UDG Healthcare also confirmed that Director Nancy Miller-Rich will be departing and a search for her replacement is in progress.
Gray commented: "I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to Chris Corbin, Chris Brinsmead and Nancy Miller-Rich for their significant contribution to UDG Healthcare during their tenure and I wish them well in their future endeavours."
Shares in UDG Healthcare were trading 2.4% lower at 779.50 pence per share on Tuesday morning in London.
