LONDON (Alliance News) - Ubisense Group PLC said Thursday it has signed a software deal with a communications network operator in North America worth approximately USD1 million.
The real-time location intelligence firm said the software order comes from a new customer.
Under the terms of the deal, Ubisense said it will provide the unnamed communications network operator with its engineering and operational staff with an online-offline web based tool for its map based asset data, contributing a critical element of the customer's operational mobility strategy.
"The order highlights our strengthening position in the North American market and continued momentum in the shift of our business toward a Solutions-focused model. From an operations perspective, it serves as another great example of the value our real time location intelligence software can provide in a complex network environment," said Richard Green, Ubisense Chief Executive.
Shares in Ubisense were trading 1.29% lower at 230.00 pence per share Thursday.
