LONDON (Alliance News) - Hardware, software and services company Ubisense Group PLC said Monday that it had extended its contract with an automotive manufacturer for its Smart Factory System by EUR1 million.
The extension is part of a programme to increase production capacity at one of the automotive manufacturer's facilities. This will bring the total number of vehicles being produced using the Smart Factory system to around 6,000 vehicles a day, Ubisense said.
The Smart Factory System technology allows manufacturers to track everything within a facility.
Ubisense did not name the automotive manufacturer.
Shares in Ubisense were trading down 2.00% at 220.50 pence Monday morning.
