LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural life sciences company TyraTech Inc said Friday it has raised GBP1.87 million before expenses in a placing and subscription of new shares.
TyraTech said it placed the shares at a price of 5 pence per share. It said the funds raised will be used primarily to assist the launch of the Vamousse head lice product range in US supermarket giant Walmart and other major US retailers, as well as additional working capital.
"It will help the Company launch its new products in 2014 and further expand its technology and establish its brands through numerous applications and multiple retail and distribution channels," said Chief Executive Officer Bruno Jactel commenting on the placing.
TyraTech shares closed 2% lower Friday afternoon, at 6.00 pence per share.
