LONDON (Alliance News) - TyraTech Inc said Wednesday that it has launched its insect control product, Natunex, in the USA.
TyraTech's Natunex is a line of non-toxic biocides designed for insect control in livestock and production animal facilities, where flies, roaches and other insects can spread disease and pose a significant health risk to livestock and farm animals. The product kills on contact and is made of plant-derived essential oils that have natural insecticidal properties, said TyraTech.
The life sciences firm said Natunex will be distributed by Novartis Animal Health US Inc to its customer base across the US, following a deal struck by the companies in August. The companies entered a global distribution partnership, through which Novartis Animal Health company distributes TyraTech's range of biocide products worldwide.
"TyraTech is excited about delivering the Natunex product line, which addresses the increased demand from livestock producers for efficacious, safe and more practical solutions to control insects and parasites. The partnership with Novartis Animal Health will make Natunex immediately available across Novartis' network of US livestock producers, with a global roll-out forthcoming," said Bruno Jactel, Chief Executive.
"In addition, this relationship demonstrates the effectiveness and quality of TyraTech's technology and products. Natunex represents a significant step forward in non-toxic, environmentally friendly and highly effective pest control," Jactel added.
TyraTech shares were trading 0.83% higher at 11.60 pence per share Wednesday afternoon.
