LONDON (Alliance News) - Insect and parasite control products company TyraTech Inc on Tuesday said it has signed a distribution deal for its Vamousse head lice treatment with US retail chain Rite Aid Corp.
TyraTech said with the addition of Rite Aid, its Vamousse product is now available in all the top four US pharmacy chains.
The company also increased the presence of the product in Tesco and Sainsbury's stores in the UK, it said.
No financial details were disclosed on the Rite Aid agreement.
"Our strategy has been to make sure that the consumer can find our product in whatever store is closest to home and then to drive brand awareness through our marketing programs. Broad distribution helps us achieve the best return on investment for our marketing spend," said Bruno Jactel, TyraTech's chief executive.
TyraTech shares were up 6.7% to 3.20 pence on Tuesday following the announcement.
