LONDON (Alliance News) - Tullow Oil PLC on Thursday announced the departure of one non-executive director and the appointment of two others.
Sheila Khama and Genevieve Sangudi will both join on April 26, following Tullow's annual general meeting the day before.
Khama is currently a policy advisor on minerals, oil, and gas for the World Bank, while she also spent eight years with Anglo American PLC's De Beers. Sangudi is managing director at private equity firm Carlyle Group in South Africa.
Departing is Tutu Agyare, who has been on the board since 2010.
Chair Dorothy Thompson said: "All of the board join me in thanking Tutu Agyare for his contribution to Tullow over the past nine years. He has been a constant source of wise counsel with his strong financial and commercial expertise and his deep knowledge and understanding of Ghana."
"I am also delighted to welcome Sheila and Genevieve to the board of Tullow where their wide experience of both Africa and the resources sector will be invaluable. I look forward to working with them closely over the years to come."
Shares were 1.3% lower on Thursday at 220.50 pence each.
