Tungsten Poaches IWG Strategy Chief As Chief Executive Officer

3rd Jul 2019 12:03

(Alliance News) - E-invoicing company Tungsten Corp PLC said Wednesday it has appointed Andrew Lemonofides as chief executive officer with effect from September.

He will be replacing Richard Hurwitz, who stepped down in February after four years in the role since 2015.

Interim Chief Executive David Williams will revert to his permanent role as chief financial officer, while Executive Chair Tony Bromovsky will revert back to a non-executive role.

Lemonofides has been part of office space provider IWG PLC for seven years since 2012, and is currently chief strategy and transformation officer.

Prior to that he was in several finance and operations roles at computer technology firm Dell Corp for 13 years.

"On behalf of the board and the whole company, I would like to welcome Andrew to Tungsten. After a detailed and testing selection process, we are delighted to have attracted someone of Andrew's calibre, experience and skill set and we are confident he will be able to drive the business forward and generate the further global scale and penetration for which it has been designed," Bromovsky said.

Shares in Tungsten Corp were up 0.8% at 49.90 pence on Wednesday.
