Tungsten Corp Says Pharma Organisations Sign Up To Network

25th Sep 2014 07:59

LONDON (Alliance News) - Tungsten Corp PLC Thursday said the latest organisations to choose its e-invoicing network include Fresenius Medical Care NA, a US-based provider of kidney dialysis services and renal care products, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, renowned for its cancer treatment and research.

Tungsten said the new customers join the e-invoicing network alongside long-term practitioners, such as GlaxoSmithKline PLC.

According to Tungsten, seven of the 12 largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, ranked by revenue, transact with their suppliers through Tungsten Network.

"The pharmaceutical sector has been an early adopter of e-Invoicing with our first customer from the industry joining the network in 2004," Tungsten Chief Executive Edmund Truell said in a statement.

"It's befitting that an industry focused on innovation is equally pioneering in its own business practices," Truell added.

Tungsten shares were Thursday quoted up 1.43% at 371.25 pence.
