(Alliance News) - Anglo-German tour operator Tui AG on Wednesday named current executive board member Sebastian Ebel as chief financial officer, as Brigit Conix steps down on December 31.
Ebel, who will assume CFO role at the start of 2021, has worked at Tui on and off since 2003, having worked there for a total of approximately 10 years. He has held numerous positions within Tui including chief operating officer. His current role sees him responsible for destination experiences, hotels & resorts, cruises and group purchasing.
When not at Tui, Ebel has worked at ATU Group as CFO and chief operations officer as well as for Vodafone Germany as CFO. He is also the founder of Eves Information Technology AG.
Additionally, Peter Krueger has been appointed as a new member of the company's executive board with effect from January 1.
Tui shares were down 5.4% at 296.70 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
