LONDON (Alliance News) - Tritax Big Box REIT PLC on Thursday said Non-Executive Director Mark Shaw will be retiring from the board at the start of February.
Shaw, however, will remain as chair and partner of Tritax Group, the company's manager.
Tritax has also hired chartered surveyor Alastair Hughes as a non-executive director, joining the same day Shaw departs.
Hughes is a former director of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc, and previously headed up both its Europe, Middle East, & Africa and Asia Pacific operations.
Chairman Richard Jewson said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Mark for his significant and valuable contribution to the creation and subsequent development of the company over the last five years, during which time he has helped oversee its successful growth and continuing progress."

Shares were 0.9% higher on Thursday at a price of 136.80 pence each.
