(Alliance News) - Tristel PLC has moved Non-Executive Director Bruno Holthof to non-executive chair, it announced on Tuesday.
Holthof will replace Paul Barnes in the role. Barnes has been chair on an interim basis since Francisco Soler stepped down in December last year.
Tristel, which makes products for infection prevention, contamination control and hygiene, said Holthof will take up his new role at the annual general meeting on December 17. Barnes will revert back to being a non-executive director.
Tristel is to now look for a new non-executive director appointment, it said.
Chief Executive Paul Swinney commented: "I would like to thank Paul Barnes for his thoughtful stewardship of our board over the past year. I am delighted that Holthof has agreed to take up the position of chair, bringing his broad experience of global healthcare to our company.
"In the New Year we shall begin a selection process for an additional independent non-executive director."
Tristel shares were 2.3% lower on Tuesday at a price of 335.25 pence apiece.
