LONDON (Alliance News) - Triple Point Social Housing REIT PLC said on Thursday it has acquired six supported housing properties, and entered a forward funding arrangement to develop two schemes, for a combined total of GBP14.8 million.
The eight UK properties comprise 80 units, and are located in Scotland, South Wales, the North West, South West, Yorkshire, West Midlands and the South East of England.
For the six acquired properties, Triple Point has entered into full repair and insurance leases for a minimum period of 20 years with specialist housing associations Falcon Housing Association, Hilldale Housing Association and Inclusion Housing.
For the two forward funded assets, the trust will enter a 20-year FRI lease with Inclusion Housing with the ability to extend.
Shares in the Triple Point Social Housing REIT were up 0.3% at 93.83 pence on Thursday.
