LONDON (Alliance News) - Tribal Group PLC said Monday it has signed a AUD8.4 million contract to provide its SITS:vision student management software system to an Australian university.
Under the implementation and support contract Tribal will provide the system to Deakin University, which has almost 50,000 students. Around 30% of Deakin's students undertake a majority of their studies online, Tribal said.
Tribal's system will replace its existing student management system, Callista.
"A key focus for us will be driving an efficient migration from Deakin's Callista system onto our SITS:vision platform, supporting the Deakin management team to realize the full benefits of their change programme," said Chief Executive Keith Evans in a statement.
Shares in Tribal were trading up 3.4% at 167.55 pence Monday morning.
