LONDON (Alliance News) - Education software and services company Tribal Group PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed a new chairman, a month after the group issued a profit warning for 2015.
Tribal said Richard Last will become chairman with immediate effect, replacing John Ormerod, who still stand down after five years in the role. Ormerod will remain with the company as a non-executive director until the end of 2015.
Last is the chairman of Servelec Group PLC, the software and services provider, and of Gamma Communications PLC, the business communications provider, both fellow London-listed firms.
The move comes in the wake of the profit warning Tribal issued in October, when it said a focus on winning larger contracts had come at the detriment of its medium and smaller-sized contract base.
Tribal shares were up 1.9% to 80.00 pence on Tuesday.
