LONDON (Alliance News) - Triad Group PLC said Monday its annual profit grew despite an "increasingly competitive" environment.
For the financial year to March 31, the IT services company posted pretax profit up 13% to GBP1.7 million from GBP1.5 million year-on-year.
Revenue dropped 10% to GBP27.8 million from GBP30.9 million year-on-year due to a "gradual" decline in lower margin activities.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation amounted to GBP1.8 million versus GBP1.6 million for the 2017 financial year.
The company issued a final dividend of 1 pence per share added to the interim dividend of 0.5p per share.
The company said the new year started "well" and it remains focused of improving gross profit and margins.
Triad shares were trading up 4.6% at 71.65p each.
