(Alliance News) - Cardiff-based advertising technology firm Tremor International Ltd on Friday announced Non-Executive Director Chris Stibbs as non-executive chair, effective September 1.
Stibbs replaces Tim Weller who informed the company of his intention to step down as chair of the board in June this year, in order to focus on other business interests.
Stibbs has over 25 years of experience as an executive in the media industry. Most recently, he spent 14 years at The Economist Group since 2006, including seven as chief executive officer since 2013, during a transformative period for the business up until August last year. Prior to this, he held senior positions with Pearson and Incisive Media.
Stibbs said: "Having already spent time working with both the executive management team and the board, I feel confident that we remain well placed to further drive the business forward, despite the global macroeconomic challenges that currently exist."
Tremor shares were down 0.9% at 141.70 pence on Friday morning in London.
