(Alliance News) - Trellus Health PLC on Tuesday announced changes to its leadership, as it appointed a new chief executive officer, chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

The White Plains, New York-based digital health platform said Co-Founder Marla Dubinsky is to assume the role of CEO with immediate effect, as former CEO Monique Fayad stands down from the board.

Fayad will offer consultancy services over a six-month handover period. Dubinsky has served as non-executive director since July 2020 and is reducing other commitments to accommodate her new position.

Non-Executive Chair Julian Baines said: "Marla's unrivalled expertise and reputation in this market means she is very well-placed to lead Trellus Health as we execute our commercialisation strategy."

The current US Executive Vice President Sales & Development Aled Stevenson will become COO with immediate effect. Stevenson joined the digital health company a year ago, following a 19-year career at AstraZeneca PLC.

"It remains our strategy to focus on both a [direct to consumer] model as well as a business-to-business model to expand our customer base," said Baines.

Richard Evans who has served as interim CFO will resume his retirement. His role will transition back to Company Secretary & former CFO Salim Hamir. "The board is reviewing the needs of the business in terms of the finance function and expects to make a further appointment in due course," Trellus said.
