(Alliance News) - Travis Perkins PLC on Thursday said Stuart Chambers will step down as chair of the builders' merchant, likely leaving the post in the first half of 2021.
Chambers is currently in his third year as non-executive chair of the FTSE 250 firm, having taken up the role back in November 2017.
"No firm date on which he will step down has been agreed, but it is anticipated that he will leave the board during the first half of 2021," Travis Perkins explained.
"The nominations committee will, with the assistance of a professional search advisor, identify a successor."
Travis Perkins shares were 1.4% higher at 1,101.00 each in London on Thursday morning.
