Transense Wins iTrack Contract For BHP Billiton Mine In Chile

9th Apr 2015 06:49

LONDON (Alliance News) - Transense Technologies PLC on Thursday said its Translogik division has won a deal to supply its iTrack mining tyre monitoring systems for the entire fleet of large haul trucks at the Spence copper mine in Chile, owned by FTSE 100-listed miner BHP Billiton PLC.

The iTrack systems will be supplied using the new rental pricing scheme put in place by Translogik.

Under the deal, Translogik will get ongoing monthly payments per vehicle fitted with the iTrack technology. No further financial details were provided on the deal.

"We are delighted to be adding BHP Billiton to our growing list of major mining clients for iTrack. The new rental model is now beginning to generate a meaningful and growing ongoing revenue stream," said Transense Chief Executive Graham Storey.
