TRADING UPDATES: Tungsten West scales up fundraise amid strong demand

6th Feb 2026 21:55

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

GENinCode PLC - Oxford-based genetic testing company, focused on cardiovascular disease and ovarian cancer prevention - Announces that further to the fundraising initially announced in January, it has received addition interest from investors. The firm considers that it would be "materially beneficial" to have the additional funding and secure a longer cash runway as it works to provide the US Food & Drug Administration with the necessary updates for its De Novo application for its Cardio inCode-Score test. Therefore agrees to an additional element of the fundraise to include a subscription at 1 pence each, raising GBP580,000. While the demand was materially greater than this level, the company is limited by its authorities. As a result, company has raised total GBP4.7 million.

----------

Mortgage Advice Bureau PLC - Derby, England-based mortgage broker - Provides an update on changes to the shareholder concert party established at the initial public offer. At the time of admission to the London Stock Exchange, company agreed with the UK Panel on Takeovers and Mergers that a concert party existed comprising Peter Brodnicki, David Preece, Paul Robinson, and Michelle Draycott. In 2016, the company announced that it had been agreed that Michelle Draycott no longer formed part of the IPO concert party, while in 2018 it was agreed that Paul Robinson no longer formed part of the concert party either. Mortgage Advice Bureau says it has now agreed with the Panel that David Preece, who ceased to be a director of the Company in May 2025, should no longer be treated as acting in concert with Peter Brodnicki. Accordingly, there is no longer a concert party comprising the founders of the company. Brodnicki currently holds just under 18% of total share capital.

----------

Metals One PLC - UK-based mineral exploration and investment company - Notes the update on Friday by Lions Bay Capital Inc - in which Metals One holds a 19.1% stake - regarding both the offer for all the assets of Vantage Goldfields Ltd by its 47.4% owned associate Lions Bay Resources Pty Ltd and the extension of LBR's option to acquire the cogeneration plant. Whilst Metals One is assisting Lions Bay Capital and LBR in progressing the offer, the final terms remain subject to agreement with the court and other stakeholders, at which time a further announcement is expected.

----------

Alien Metals Ltd - London-based mining firm focused on Australia - Receives notice of warrant exercise in respect of 41.7 million shares at an issue price of 0.12 pence per share raising GBP50,000.

----------

Donegal Investment Group PLC - Letterkenny, Ireland-based, agricultural firm - Completes the disposal of its seed potato businesses, IPM Potato Group Ltd, AJ Allan Ltd, IPM Portugal Ltd, IPM France Ltd, IPM Holland Ltd, and IPM Kenya Ltd to the Royal HZPC Group. Following completion Donegal Investment Group receives EUR13.9 million including existing IPM cash of EUR300,000 and completion account adjustments of minus EUR0.5 million. A further EUR2.4 million will be held in escrow for 24 months to February 2028. A further contingent deferred cash consideration of up to EUR4 million is payable dependent on the financial performance of IPM to August 2027. But believes that it is highly unlikely that any deferred consideration will be forthcoming at the end of the 2-year period, noting the seed potato industry is experiencing a highly challenging year with market prices under significant downward pressure.

Berkeley Energia remains committed to the Salamanca project and continues to be open to a constructive dialogue with Spain.

----------

"These funds are a cornerstone for the re-start of operations at Hemerdon in a time of very buoyant commodity prices," company says. In addition, raises GBP3 million via substantially oversubscribed retail offer, also at 18p, taking total fundraise to GBP44.4 million.
