TRADING UPDATES: Seraphim Space hails valuation hikes

16th Feb 2026 16:24

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Seraphim Space Investment Trust PLC - investor in space technology - Seraphim reports a combined fair value uplift of 36% from each of its top four holdings, to GBP261 million at December 30 from GBP192 million at September. ICEYE's valuation alone increases 34% to GBP132 million, ALL.SPACE's by 80% to GBP54 million, D-Orbit's by 23% to GBP42 million, and HawkEye 360's by 15% to GBP34 million. Seraphim adds: "The company does not anticipate any further material valuation movements as at 31 December 2025 within the rest of the portfolio."

----------

Mercia Asset Management PLC - alternative asset manager focused on regional UK small and medium enterprises - Investee Tozaro Ltd seals a GBP6.0 million funding round, which will go towards in smart polymer offering. "The funding round was led by Mercia through a combination of direct investment (GBP1.3million) and investment by its third-party managed funds, alongside participation from existing third-party co-investors," the firm adds. It holds just shy of a 12% stake following the fundraise.

----------

Malvern International PLC - London-based learning and skills development company - Malvern is closing its Adult English Language Teaching operation. It will look to focus on "profitable and growing areas of the group". The closure creates savings between GBP200,000 and GBP600,000 for the year to September 30, 2027. For the current financial year, it expects a GBP300,000 hit from the move, "largely due to staff redundancies".

----------

Jangada Mines PLC - Brazil-focused natural resource development company - Reports a drilling programme at the Molly Gold project in Tapajos, Brazil has kicked off. The work will look to "confirm historical data", a "westward continuity" of an area of the asset and the "test potential continuity to the east". "The initial campaign is focussed on the Molly 1 target, confirming existing and identifying additional vein structures, as well as understanding multiple extensions to the east and west. With five drill crews and three rigs being utilised, secured quickly through the board's operational network, means that we will quickly understand the direction the programme needs to develop to execute our obligations for the acquisition," Chief Executive Officer Paulo Misk says.

----------

Union Jack Oil PLC - onshore exploration, development and production in the UK and US - Union Jack reports that Rathlin Energy UK Ltd has been handed a variation to the permit for the West Newton A well site. The variation has been to include reservoir stimulation in the WNA-2 well. "The company believes that the planned recompletion of the WNA-2 well is a low-cost and low risk means of further derisking the sub-surface element of the West Newton project and gathering data to optimise future production wells. This key regulatory milestone clears a major hurdle in the path toward development and eventual production at West Newton, strengthening Rathlin's, and consequently Union Jack's, ability to advance its UK onshore assets within a responsible environmental and social governance framework," Union Jack says. Union Jack owns just under 17% of the PEDL183 licence, where West Newton is located. Reabold Resources PLC, which owns an 80% interest in Rathlin and a 17% direct stake in PEDL 183, says it is an "important regulatory milestone".

----------

Prospex Energy PLC - Europe-focused gas and power project investor - Tarba Energia division restarts electricity generation and sales at the El Romeral gas to power plant in Andalucia, Spain. "Following the delivery and installation of the rental transformer in late January, Tarba performed a series of testing and recommissioning steps and regular electricity production has now re-started. The rental transformer will remain on contract until the delivery of the new electricity transformer, which was ordered from a supplier in Spain last November. Tarba is in dialogue with that supplier and good progress is being made on the new build," Prospex adds.
