TRADING UPDATES: ITM Power agrees hydrogen deal; Aurrigo wins contract

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

ITM Power PLC - Sheffield-based designer and manufacturer of electrolyser systems for green hydrogen production - Announces the signing of a supply agreement and binding heads of terms for a long-term services agreement with MorGen Energy for the 20 megawatt West Wales Hydrogen project in Milford Haven. Says the project is well on track towards final investment decision and is expected to break ground before calendar year-end. The project was awarded funding under the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero HAR1 programme. Chief Executive Dennis Schulz says: "This contract marks a major milestone for ITM Power and the UK hydrogen sector. Selection for the West Wales Hydrogen Project demonstrates confidence in our technology, delivery capability, and the critical role green hydrogen plays in the energy transition."

Aurrigo International PLC - Coventry, England-based transport technology provider - Announces the signing of a new contract with Tees Valley Combined Authority to deploy "autonomous solutions" at Teesside International Airport. The multi-year contract is worth GBP900,000 and will see Aurrigo develop an autonomous baggage and passenger moving system at Teesside. The project will begin in the second half of 2025 with delivery of the Auto-Shuttle for initial testing followed by delivery of the Auto-DollyTug. Following completion of the testing phase, the Auto-Shuttle and Auto-DollyTug will be transferred to Teesside International Airport for airside testing and live operations. This project will culminate in 2026.

First Tin PLC - tin mine developer with projects in Germany and Australia - Secures an agreement with the Glen Innes Severn Council in New South Wales, Australia. First Tin has the green light to place its mine camp on land adjacent to Glen Innes Airport, "This is an excellent outcome and represents another significant step forward for the Taronga tin project," First Tin says. Adds: "The selected site on GISC owned land is an ideal location for our proposed mine camp and will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our Taronga tin project."

Marula Mining PLC - Africa-focused mining and development company - Enters into a binding term sheet with a Kenyan-incorporated mining company Bamba Mining Co Ltd to buy a 60% interest in the Bamba Manganese Mining Project located in Kilifi County, Kenya. Marula issues 500,000 new shares as part of the deal at 5 pence each to settle GBP25,000 due to Bamba. Upon achieving sales of 100,000 tonnes of commercial manganese ore, Marula will make a one-off cash payment of GBP250,000 to Bamba. In addition, Marula will fully fund a 12-month exploration and development program to establish a large-scale commercial manganese mining and processing operation. This will be funded from the company's operating cashflow from its manganese operations in Kenya.

Ondine Biomedical Inc - Vancouver, Canada-based life sciences company - Announces the American British Cowdray Medical Center in Mexico City will begin piloting the Steriwave nasal photodisinfection system in September. This marks the first hospital deployment of Steriwave in Mexico, Ondine explains. Chief Executive Carolyn Cross says: "The Mexican market is a key pillar of our long-term strategic growth plans," adding this collaboration is a "vital step" in introducing "our validated, non-antibiotic solution to a large market where combatting rising multidrug resistance is a top priority."

Cykel AI PLC - London-based recruitment platform - Launches GTM AI, a zero-setup sales automation solution powered by the company's autonomous AI sales agent Eve. GTM AI addresses the primary barrier limiting AI sales tool adoption across the market: setup complexity. Chief Executive Ewan Collinge explains: "GTM AI represents a step forward in sales automation accessibility. The biggest barrier we've observed in the market is the technical configuration required by existing platforms. GTM AI will automatically understand your company positioning and will create outreach campaigns without any setup requirements, making enterprise-level GTM strategy available to businesses that previously couldn't access these capabilities."

PureTech Health PLC - Boston, Massachusetts-based biotech and pharmaceutical firm - Notes its founded entity Vedanta Biosciences says that its candidate VE202 did not meet the primary endpoint in the phase 2 Collective202 study for the treatment of patients with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis. PureTech has a 4.2% stake in Vedenta. "We are very disappointed that our study did not meet its efficacy endpoints," Vedenta says.
