22nd Jul 2025 17:21

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Flowtech Fluidpower PLC - Cheshire-based with product range that includes hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial components - Wins EUR4.5 million pact at Narrow Water Bridge, which will create an "important link" between Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. In addition, Flowtech becomes the first UK wholesale distributor for industrial automation firm SMC Corp. "The partnership agreement signed this month adds a powerful channel for customers of both businesses to secure the right solution for their needs, with the minimum lead time. It will also enable a wide selection of parts from SMC's standard selection to become available to order and ship from Flowtech's HQ and Global Fulfilment Centre in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, making it easier for UK industry to source tried and trusted fluid control solutions from one location," Flowtech adds.

----------

SpaceandPeople PLC - Glasgow-based promotional and short-term retail space provider - Revenue in the six months to June 30 is GBP3.7 million, rising 28% to GBP2.9 million the year before. Also delivers "a significant upswing to a break even position" during the six-month period, against a GBP200,000 loss a year prior. The group now anticipates full-year pretax profit of roughly GBP500,000 on revenue of around GBP8.3 million. Revenue in 2024 totalled GBP6.7 million and pretax amounted to GBP225,000.

----------

Van Elle Holdings PLC - Nottinghamshire, England-based ground engineering contractor - Partners with VolkerWessels UK in a move which "includes the acquisition of the concrete piling assets of VolkerGround Engineering". "Van Elle and the businesses within VolkerWessels UK will work together closely, with the capacity and technical expertise to deliver optimal solutions across major investment programmes in the water, energy, defence, industrial and rail sectors," Van Elle adds.

----------

Capricorn Energy PLC - Egypt-focused oil and gas explorer - Capricorn says its receivables position was "relatively flat" from the year end at USD172 million at June 30. "Capricorn enters the second half of 2025 having made material progress in its strategic priorities, underpinned by financial discipline and driven by a focused team who have set out a clear path to creating shareholder value," Chief Executive Randy Neely says. "With a payment plan agreed with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corp, we have continued to invest in the asset base, actively working with EGPC to ensure that the timely payment of receivables is able to support the increasing investment programme." Capricorn's drilling activity in the first half was "limited" as it needed to fulfil outstanding exploration postponed from 2024. "In the second half of 2025, Capricorn forecasts the drilling of 10 development wells, all focused on the Badr El Din area, targeting liquids. This work programme is expected to be attributed against the commitments that the company will be required to fulfil as part of the recently agreed integrated concession agreement," it adds.

----------

Oriole Resources PLC - West and Central Africa-focused gold exploration company - Holes from Mbe project drilling return "multiple gold mineralised intersections". "The latest set of drilling results continues to support our expectation, based on the recently publish JORC exploration target, of defining a resource of considerable scale at MB01-S. We now have delineated a substantial gold system which, importantly, remains open in all directions and at depth and we look forward to reporting the maiden MRE in Q4-2025," CEO Martin Rosser says. It expects a mineral resource estimate at the Cameroon-based asset in the fourth-quarter.

----------

Ixico PLC - London-based medical research firm - Depeens collaboration with Global Alzheimer's Platform Foundation. It secures "full data usage rights in GAP's landmark Bio-Hermes-002 study". "GAP's Bio-Hermes-002 is one of the most prominent global studies in Alzheimer disease research, which aims to enhance the understanding of newly identified AD biomarkers and advance the regulatory acceptance of those biomarkers for use in clinical trials. Ixico is working closely with GAP and other biopharmaceutical companies engaged in Bio-Hermes-002, using its unique AI-driven platform and expertise, to assist with the neuroimaging analysis of the Bio-Hermes-002 study data. Ixico's participation in the trial further establishes it as a consortium partner of leading biopharmaceutical players jointly combatting AD," it adds.
