Trading Emissions First-Half Net Asset Value Rises On Asset Sale Gains

27th Mar 2018 12:08

LONDON (Alliance News) - Investment company Trading Emissions PLC on Tuesday reported a rise in net asset value for the first half of 2018 financial year mainly due to sale of the company's remaining Italian solar assets.

The company also said that it intends to seek shareholder approval to cancel its AIM market stock listing in order to reduce costs and save cash.

The company's net asset value as for the six months to the end of 2017 totaled 4.75 pence per share, up from 3.74p a year prior and 4.02p as at June 30, 2017.

Pretax profit for the half year totaled GBP4.3 million, compared with a loss of GBP202,000 in the year ago period. The swing to profit was mainly attributed to change in value of the company's assets.

Shares in the company were up 0.6% at 3.25p.
