LONDON (Alliance News) - Tracsis PLC said Thursday long-standing Non-Executive Director John Nelson has stood down with immediate effect as it appointed former FirstGroup PLC executive Macdonald Andrade to replace him.
Nelson - non-executive since its listing in 2007 - will stand down after half-a-century in the rail industry.
Andrade will join Tracsis - a traffic data software firm - after having held senior roles at transport firm FirstGroup PLC and rail infrastructure firm National Rail. He has also served in senior positions at utility firms SSE PLC and National Grid PLC.
"On behalf of the board I would like to thank John Nelson for his counsel and contribution over the past 11 years and wish him well for the future," Tracsis Chairman Chris Cole said. "I am delighted that the group has secured a high calibre replacement in Mac Andrade, who has a wealth of rail industry experience and expertise. I welcome him to the board, and look forward to working with him in the future".
Shares in Tracsis were untraded at 560.00 pence on Thursday.
