(Alliance News) - TR European Growth Trust PLC on Wednesday said Chair Audley Twiston-Davies intends to retire at the conclusion of the 2019 annual general meeting and will be succeeded by Director Christopher Casey.
The company also said that it has appointed Daniel Burgess to board as a non-executive director with effect from November 25.
Before his retirement in 2016, Burgess was a partner at KPMG for 23 years, the investment trust said. Burgess initially led the statutory audits of a number of large public limited companies and public interest entities before specialising in due diligence and regulatory services on mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions.
TR European Growth Trust shares closed 3.4% lower at 834.00 pence each in London on Wednesday.
